Keeping Staff and Customers Safe
Pincus Elevator Company has been doing everything we can to ensure our elevator technicians and our customers are protected from COVID-19. We are following the CDC guidelines and listening for new updates on the virus so we can properly adapt and protect our staff and customers as much as possible. We understand the severity and importance of educating and supplying our essential, front-line workers on how to properly protect themselves from contamination and others. We provide our elevator techs with the adequate PPE while they are providing these services to our customers, so they are also protected from any germs that could spread.
Taking Care of Routine Maintenance
Another way we are making sure our customers are protected is by having our elevator technicians diligently clean and paint our customers’ machine rooms and elevator pits. With some jobs on hold due to the closing of certain services, we can focus on regular maintenance of elevators to make sure they are tidy and clean and running as smoothly as possible. Our technicians are trained to provide the best maintenance possible and they take pride in their work. Some examples of valuable maintenance services we can perform at this time include:
- inspecting the car tops and pit areas for trash and debris
- inspecting lamps for non-working bulbs
- inspecting hoist cables for wear and tear
- lubricating door equipment for smooth openings and closings.
Each elevator may have different maintenance needs. Therefore we make sure to take the time to properly inspect each section so that our customers have a safe and efficient elevator experience for their guests.
