Mother Nature finally gave us some snow after what seemed like a few years without it.
That is good news for kids, but not as good of news for elevators.
Pincus Elevator wants to remind you with all the snow and cold weather conditions lots of salt is being laid. Salt can easily be tracked into the elevator falling off shoes and can clog up your elevator sill resulting in elevator issues. It can jam up your doors and cause shutdowns.
To avoid this from happening, we recommend trying to vacuum your sills out at least twice a day. Hopefully this tip will keep your elevators running smoothly without issues this winter.
