Mobile App Elevator Call Buttons
The Appello+ system by Minnesota Elevator (MEI) is highly compatible with older elevators and new elevators alike. It requires no reoccurring costs other than that the building must have WiFi inside the machine room where the elevator controller is located. The Appello system allows property managers to invite tenants to use an app on their cell phones or other cellular devices. From that app, the rider has full control over the elevator buttons without ever having to touch anything other than their own device. The regular buttons will still work, but people with the app will not need to use them if they don’t want to. This is a truly touchless elevator service. The install time for one elevator is typically one day, and the time and cost will increase with more than one elevator on site.
Foot Control Elevator System
We here at Pincus approve of the Appello system and have high confidence in the manufacturer, but other touchless elevator products are on the market as well. For example, GAL has a foot control system called Toe-To-Go that you can see in the picture above. This is also an amazing technology that is relevant to the world today and can help visitors stay safe without having to physically touch anything with their hands.
